Pedro Bennett is the head instructor and recognized founder (Test and Recognized by the World Head of Family Soke Council – September 1st. 2017, Orlanda, FL.) of Venn Kempo Jujitsu (VKJ).  In 2014, Pedro was test and evaluated  by Grandmaster Nimr Hassan, Grandmaster James Mitose’s last know private student, and was recognized as having an effective and creditable self-defense system (VKJ). He is a 7th degree black belt (Shichidan) in the Chinese Kenpo Karate, a 5th degree black belt (Godan) in Kempo Jujitsu, 4th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do (World Jidokwan Federation) and a 1st degree black belt (Shodan) in Aiki Jujutsu.  In Shootfighting, he obtained the level of Instructor (Shodoka), under Bart Vale, before becoming inactive in Shootfighting.  Pedro has been a student of the Koga Ha Kosho Shorei Ryu Kempo System – Philadelphia since 1999. He is the Krav Maga Training (KMT) – Italia, National Representative (Chief Instructor) for the USA. Pedro was inducted into the World Head of Family Soke Council, as Master of the Year – Venn Kempo Jujitsu – 2007.  He was inducted into the Kenpo International Hall of Fame in 2013 (Gathering of the Eagles).  He conducted a seminar concerning ground defenses and martial fitness at the event. Pedro was inducted in the United States Martial Artist Association Hall of Fame (Grandmaster of the Year; July, 2015). He is on the advisory board of the Hawaii Martial Arts Hall of Fame / Hawaii Kenpo Society, serving as Director of Media & Public Relations and a member of the The American Jujitsu Institute.

Pedro published a self-defense video, Kenpo-Jujitsu, “The Art of Choice” in 2001, featuring 24 practical self-defense techniques.
