LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING

Prof. Bennett is an ex-police officer, and when he was an
officer, he was well aware of the danger such technique as choke holds and
strangulation presented. Such techniques could bring some physical altercations or resistance to a halt expeditiously; however, as a result, things could go downhill very rapidly.

Currently, he is teaching and offering officer an opportunity to train Venn Kempo Jujitsu, focusing on techniques, when applied will help obtain control (verbal and or physical control) in a physical altercation, limiting the use of chemical and impact weapons. Voice Commands

Voice commands could de-escalate or escalate a situation or dispute from an issue to a problem. Understanding how to use language, tune and pitch as a tool to maintain order is a sign of mastery and a component of conflict resolution. Venn Kempo Jujitsu Methods of law enforcement de-escalate teaches and explores methods of maintaining verbal control while creating a dialogue so that reflection is encouraged and communication is embarrassed.

Arrest Techniques

Suspects are  not always passive, as well, as aggressive. Passive suspects often persuaded to follow orders threw verbal commands; however, officers are challenged when the suspects are aggressive, both verbally and physically. It is the physical aggression that frequently leads to regrettable outcomes by both the suspect(s) and officer(s); nevertheless, knowing how to suppress or control a physical altercation without using impact weapons or projectile has challenged many law enforcement agencies. Venn Kempo Jujitsu Methods teaches officers to how take physical control of most situations when necessary as officers learns how to manipulate the suspect’s body in an effort to bring minimum harm to the suspect with the consideration of the public and officers’ safety.

Weapon Retention

There is always a weapon on the scene when an officer arrives. The officers’ weapon(s), regardless if it is his or her gun(s), pepper spray, baton, knife, presences, etc., creates an authoritative environment and sometimes fear.

While navigating the various stimuli officers’ encounters, they are susceptible to aggressive encounters, particular weapons disarmament. Knowing how to provide acts of aggression is what officers prefer; however, it is not away possible. We explore options of weapon retention via scenarios that shocks the officers thought process threw limiting their ability to gain immediate control of their vital tools. We explore strategies that obstruct the suspects’ intent, while the officers gain or maintain control of their weapons.
